Good for TV's 32" or smaller Apr 17, 2010
This is an awesome TV arm and would have worked out perfectly, however my TV was larger that 32". The settings on part that attaches to the TV only go from 100mm x 100mm to 200mm x 200mm and 100mm x 200mm. Unfortunately, the TV I wanted to use it on was 300mm x 300mm. So I ended up using it (without the arm, just the wall mounting portion and the TV mounting part, so it will not rotate or swing) in the bedroom.
Great unit, clean looking, and works great on the smaller TVs. I know there are adaptor kits that you can get (and I did) to extend the TV mounting part to 300mm x 300mm and even 400mm x 400mm, but it was not an easy fit, so i just used it with a different TV.

Great product, easy to install Mar 15, 2010
I ordered this wall mount to hang a 32" monitor for our conference room at work. I had read many of the reviews of this product before hand and the vast majority of them were very favorable. The wall mount was very good quality and very easy to install. The extension arm allows us to easily retract the monitor when not in use and to pull it out and angle it as we wish for presentations and webcasts.
Highly recommend this product.

We use quite a few Ergotron product at work for multiple displays and articulating arm displays for years and always been 100% satisfied with the products. I was looking for something for home use to mount a newly purchased Panasonic LCD 26 inch TV in the master bathroom. I ordered the HD wall mount and the extra LX extension arm.
Installation was extremely easy:
- determine your mounting height,
- find the middle of the stud,
- drill two holes,
- screw in two bolts to the base,
- connect the LCD extension arm to the back of the LCD
- and mount and enjoy!
I've added the extra Ergotron LX Extension arm to give me a greater range of motion for the TV. The HD wall mount came with extension brackets for TVs or LCDs with larger mounting bolt patterns. My TV fell far below the 50 lbs weight limit (most 42 inch TVs are below 50 lbs). I also mounted shelves with cable management (Omni Mount Tria-2 hanging A/V shelf system) on the same stud and the extra arm allows me to center the TV above the center line above the shelves close to the wall.
The only complain was I could not find the NeoFlex wall mount in charcoal/black, only silver. Not really a big deal because you can't see the arm that well behind the TV. Having the arm in charcoal/black would help hide the TV power and HDMI cable a little better on the Ergotron arm.
The arm worked so well, I've ordered another one with the LX extension arm for the 32 inch LCD in the spare bedroom to get rid of our +20 year old TV stand.
Wall Mount Works Oct 13, 2009
I got this so I could rotate a TV from landscape to portrait. It works, but there is a problem because my TV is not weighted correctly so when it is in portrait it doesn't stay in place. The mounting arm doesn't have a locking mechanism for the 360 rotation, so I had to make something to do that. This is a great arm but would be better for me with a locking mechanism. (However, I haven't seen any with locks.)

THis is a great product. very low profile, easy to install, very adjustable requiring minimal pressure to move, yet stays put. great that it also rotates on the y-axis. highly recommended.

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (July 2010) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2009 and June 2010. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its July 2010 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com came closest.
