2No outputs, limited inputs, mediocre picture.  May 15, 2010
I guess the other reviewers on here have never seen a good plasma before. This TV was a total disappointment, NO outputs for sound or anything else, if you have to use an external device such as an amp, headphones, hearing assistance phones etc. don't buy this, you won't have a port to plug it into.

The Picture is terrible compared to the LG and Samsung. Limited picture adjustment parameters compared to other makes/models.

The sound is excellent though, I'll give it that.

I bought this tv to replace a 32 inch panasonic that last over 10 years. This is my first plasma tv Why did I buy this brand and not one of the other several brands in the market? First of all panasonic is known for manufacturing high quality consumer products that you can rely upon to last long time. The second reason with my limited budget I did not want to spend over 1000 bucks for a plasma tv, so far every one in my household is happy with it, Is it going to last as long as my previous tv? that remain to be seen but I am hopeful that it will last a considerable amount of time the reason why I did not give it a five start is because I have had this prouct only for a month or so and havent have the time to watch it in a regular basis. If you have the money to buy the more expensive model by all mean do so because the resolution is higher and the picture quality is better. This is all folks I hope this review will be helpful good luck on your future purchases.

5Nice Plasma  Apr 11, 2010
I got this plasma for my parents. I got them a 720p because they don't know much about HD TV. And it'll be a little bit until they get all the 1080p type devices. So 720p will show normal TV better than 1080p would. As a plasma it's a pretty good TV and the features, like the SD card for them to show off pictures from their camera, are nice for them. I think this is a good TV for those looking for a big TV which isn't top of the line. Someone just looking for a big TV that can look pretty nice when an HD signal is put in, or looks pretty good off of just a regular cable box. I like the TV for my parents, but for me I'd need a 1080p so I could play PS3 in all it's glory. For my parents, they just like a big screen TV and how sharp it looks.

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!

Washington, D.C. (July 2010) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)

The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2009 and June 2010. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its July 2010 issue.)

"
Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."

Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com came closest.
