Best $1400 spent in a long time Jun 02, 2010 I had a 60 inch Sony WEGA DLP that is now RIP. It had a problem the screen that Sony fixed while under warranty twice no problem.
With the TV out of Warranty and it weighing like 300 lbs I was not anxious to move a damaged TV to my new place.
Found this model on Amazon for about $1400 shipped and I am very happy - one thing you must get external speaker - these speakers are too thin for any bass at all.
I am using my PC powered sony speakers ( left and and right with subwoofer ) and it sounds good.
With a sound bar it will probably sound even better
Leroy (Roxbury Mass) May 01, 2010 A really great tv if your ever wanna go 55inches or above. No problems at all. Only thing I had, is the jutter issues between changing channels, and two pictures will get stuck.. sometimes. Only thing I do to solve that is switch off tv and then turn it back on, and picture is back to normal. Good sound, good picture overall. Very heavy item, to lift up though, when u set it up..

Disappointed Apr 25, 2010 I bought this about 2 months ago. It looks great while watching blu-rays. But while watching tv, I get certain flickering in some trees, blonde hair, and some whites. I have Comcast cable. Anyone else have this problem?? Any help would be appreciated.
Great Buy Apr 02, 2010 I needed a TV, and found this online. Great TV for the price. The company I bought it from was great in communication and delivered it as promised.
Great TV - wait for it to settle in. Mar 30, 2010 This is a fantastic TV. I am thoroughly happy with it, but admit that when I first fired it up, I thought that the picture quality was terrible when compared to my other 46" Sony LCD TV. That said, once the TV had been used for about 20 hours, it seemed to settle in nicely and I can honestly say that the picture quality met or exceeded my expectations entirely.
I am not using the speakers on the TV, so I cannot speak to audio quality.
The only complaint that I have is with the piano black finish, as it seems to be a magnet for dust. It is nearly impossible to keep the finish dust-free. Small gripe, so it still is worth 5 stars.

Consumer Reports Says: Buy HDTV at Amazon!
Washington, D.C. (July 2010) -- When it comes to price, Consumer Reports says shoppers are most likely to find the best deals online. And the publication called three ecommerce sites "standouts" in this year's Consumer Reports ratings of electronics stores: Amazon.com, Crutchfield.com and B&H (bhphotovideo.com)
The magazine's survey was based on more than 38,000 purchases of electronics, including flat-screen TVs, between January 2009 and June 2010. The report indicated that online stores consistently offered better prices. (The magazine's full report can be found in its July 2010 issue.)
"Buying online can be better," the magazine said in a press release. "The higher-rated electronics retailers in Consumer Reports annual reader survey are Web sites. Readers who bought online rated their overall satisfaction at 90 out of 100 -- higher than those who bought in a store. Additionally, many Web merchants offer free shipping, even on TVs, which could spare the hassle of struggling to fit a bulky carton in the car or paying a local store for delivery."
Consumer Reports said that while no single retailer scored excellent in all shopping categories, Amazon.com came closest.
